We will never change the meaning of your story and we aim to make as few changes as possible. We reserve the right to refuse to publish any story we think is inappropriate. Do you endorse any traffic-related products or services? No. Any products or services mentioned on our website are for convenience and interest only. We are documentary filmmakers and have no personal or financial interest in any products or services listed on this website. Yes, please send us any links and material you think we should include on our website. If we think it's informative, interesting and relevant, we'll publish it. Please ensure that you have rights to publish the material before sending it to us. Are you a non-profit organization? No. We'd love to make a profit so that we could go on to create other great films and documentaries for the world to enjoy. Why aren't my donations tax deductible? We are not a non-profit organization. However, we are working towards obtaining a non-profit fiscal sponsor who will accept tax deductible donations on our behalf. We will post information on our Donate page as soon as this is in place. Who's involved in making the documentary so far? The TrafficDocumentary.com team currently consists of the Producer (Matt Valenti), Senior Researcher/Writer (Deb Hiett) and Director of Photography (Jordan Valenti). Many other professionals will be involved in the project as it moves through its stages of completion. How much is it going to cost to make this documentary? Our goal is to raise between $100,000 and $300,000. Films are expensive to make and take a lot of work. When's the last time you sat through all the credits at the end of a film? Try it! This will give you an idea of just how many professionals are involved in making a film. We plan to make the best best documentary film possible based on the amount of funds we're able to raise. How much time will it take to complete this documentary? We'd like to complete it as quickly as possible. However, the typical documentary usually takes three years to complete. A lot of time is simply spent raising funds before work can even begin. The more support we get the faster the project will be completed. Are you qualified to make this documentary? You bet! Between us, we have decades of artistic and technical expertise, and have worked on many film projects in various roles. Producing, acting, writing, shooting ... you name it, we've done it. But more importantly, we're passionate about traffic and about making this documentary film. We drive the streets of the most congested city every day. We live it, breathe it, complain about it, and are compelled to do something about it. What will you do with all the profits you make? Only a very small percentage of independent films ever make a profit. If we're fortunate enough to make a profit we'll simply use it to make more films and documentaries that touch people's hearts and minds. Why doesn't my city appear in the shortcut forum? We can't put every city in America in our list but we do have the top congested cities. We figured those cities needed the most help. If you'd like your city listed, then email us, and we'll consider including it. |
